hand-shake-love9Welcome, Kristina, let’s learn more about you …

What is your genre? Why did you choose it?
Sci-fi. I grew up a huge fan of sci-fi. It just seemed like a natural fit for me when I started writing.

I do often. Currently working on two right now

First book I remember reading was involving Mickey and Minnie Mouse

Do you nibble on snacks while writing? If so, what is your chosen treat?
Depends on my mood or the hour. Sometimes chips and soda. Some sort of candy.

Tidy desk or a bombsite? Describe your writing area with us.
Bombsite! My desk is a mass of pop culture with Disney, Garfield, and Indiana Jones collectables. My husband even got me a dictionary with Garfield comics on every page. It sits next to my mouse and I often use it rather than the internet.

Are you published in the traditional manner or self published? Share your journey. I am working with two indie companies to have several books published this year.

Who would you say have been the three most influential authors in your reading/writing life?
Agatha Christie I read the most as a teenager. Iโ€™m a huge fan of several Star Wars writers. Most notably Karen Traviss and Timothy Zahn. I also love Suzanne Collins

What advice would you like to share with other writers/authors with regard to preparing a manuscript?
Keep at it. If this is something youโ€™re passionate about then donโ€™t become discouraged. Read as much as you can. Blog when possible.

If the movie rights to your novels are purchased, who would you like to play your main characters?
Anyone I can picture for my guys are a bit older than the characters. For Mirror Image, I always picture the two female main characters, Mack and Maddie, as Jennifer Lawrence. I simply adore her.

I was on my way to the supermarket, when … Do you have a tale to tell relating to an everyday, boring event?
Nothing which is immediately springing to mind.
